Background
Export/Download enables you to save and share your Document Crunch analysis and artifacts in convenient formats for use outside the platform. Export your comprehensive reviews, playbooks, notes, markups, and documents as Excel spreadsheets or PDF files to integrate with your existing workflows, share with stakeholders who don't have Document Crunch access, or maintain offline records. Use this feature when you need to incorporate Document Crunch insights into reports, presentations, or project documentation, or when collaborating with external partners who need access to your analysis.
Things to Consider
Excel exports are available for Reviews, Playbooks, and Notes and Markups
PDF downloads are available for Reviews, Playbooks, Notes and Markups, and the original Document
You can now remove the Document Crunch logo from PDF downloads
Excel downloads are accessed through the three-dot menu on the Review panel
PDF downloads are accessed through the Download button in the top navigation
Steps
Exporting to Excel
Navigate to the item you want to export (Review, Playbook, or Notes and Markups)
Click the three-dot menu on the checklist or working panel
Select the Export to Excel option
Your Excel file will automatically download to your default download location
Tip! Excel exports are ideal for further analysis, sorting, filtering, or integration with your project management systems.
Downloading as PDF
Click the Download button in the top navigation bar
Select which item(s) you want to download:
Review
Playbook
Notes and Markups
Document (original uploaded file)
Choose whether to include or remove the Document Crunch logo from your PDF
Click the Download button to generate your PDF
Your PDF file will automatically download to your default download location
Tip! Removing the Document Crunch logo creates a cleaner document for client-facing deliverables or official project records.
Note: PDF downloads may take a moment to generate depending on the size of your document and the amount of content being exported.
